Kenya Pipeline scholarships for KCPE candidates who scored above 250

The Kenya Pipeline Company has announced its plans to provide scholarships to students from humble backgrounds in the country.

In a statement released on December 14th, the company announced 94 available scholarship slots for students who recently completed their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education exams.

The initiative is part of their corporate social investment arm, the INUKA Scholarship program. The company aims to support two financially disadvantaged children, a boy and a girl with disabilities, from each of the 47 counties in Kenya.

“KPC Foundation, in collaboration with the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD), hereby invites applications from eligible candidates who sat for KCPE in 2023,” the company wrote in their statement.

As per the statement, eligible candidates must be Kenyan citizens, have completed KCPE in 2023, and scored above 250 marks. They are also required to register with the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) and demonstrate financial need.

Interested applicants are encouraged to download the scholarship application forms from the KPC website. The deadline for submitting applications is December 22, 2023.

“The scholarship application forms are available on the KPC website, the NCPWD website, and the County Disability Service Offices countrywide,” it read in part.

“Duly filled application form and all required documents should be delivered to the respective County Disability Service Offices in a sealed and marked envelope on or before Friday, December 22, 2023.”
