Kenya Volleyball Federation goes digital as KCB promises support

Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) has today officially unveiled its 2024/2025
season as it seeks to embrace digital operations in activities.

The digitalisation campaign will entail a newly established Federation website
(www.kvf.com), live streaming of matches, live scoring, and a full-blown social media initiative intended to bring the sports closer to its fans.

KVF President Charles Nyaberi noted that the new direction is meant to position
the federation as a digital-fit outfit that can keep up with the current demands
of the sport.

“The essence going forward is to enhance the visibility, popularity, and
commercial value of volleyball in Kenya by building a strong brand, attracting
more fans, increasing media coverage, and securing sponsorship,” said
Nyaberi.

KCB, a regional powerhouse in the sports sponsorship arena, powered the
launch event that was graced by various stakeholders including sponsors,
teams’ representatives, Malkia Strikers, Wafalme Strikers and former
internationals, and KCB Women’s Volleyball team (2022, African Club
Champions).
