Kimani Sheriff, a Kenyan nurse tweep residing abroad, took to Twitter to proudly display his newly acquired residential property in the United States.
He revealed that he is from the Mtindwa area, in Kayole. There, he resided in a small single-room space. However, Kimani relocated seeking for better opportunities and a fulfilling life.
This was the beginning of his journey to home ownership. Finally, Kimani can now unwind and look at his stunning home with a spacious and well-maintained green yard.
“When I remember where I came from in Kayole. From a single room in Mtindwa to a homeowner in the US. It’s only God. USA gave me a second chance in life,” said the Kenyan nurse based in US.

Kimani disclosed that he moved to the US nearly 7 years ago as a nurse. While in Kenya, he worked as a nurse at the Mater Hospital in Nairobi earning Sh. 50,000 monthly ($380).
Kimani explains that he finds that as an insult to Kenyan nurses, for the services and hard work they put in to care for numerous patients round-the-clock.
“I don’t regret moving to USA to earn the same $380 every 3 hours. Kenyan nurses deserve better. If you can move to USA or UK, go! Use Kenya to gain experience,” Kimani wrote in a tweet.
Practising the profession in the US, has afforded him the opportunity to buy two Lexus GX470s. In Kenya, he allegedly owns a ‘kadudu’ and a Jeep Wrangler.
In the video, the front yard is evidently flourishing with freshly turned garden soil and well-cared plants. He has an arranged parking space where his valuable vehicles are stationed.
Besides the garage door, there are boxes brimming with goods. Kimani explained that he intends to dispatch those packages to Kenyan in the near future.
