Olive Gachara has become synonymous with the local entrepreneurial pitching show Lions’ Den which airs every Monday on NTV.
Ms. Gachara, though, has been in business for the last 21 years. She is the founder of fashion magazine Couture Africa. She is also an Image Consultant with Olive Image and a former model agent.
She was only 17 years old when she first signed up for the Ms. Malaika beauty contest.
Two years later, she started consulting as a fashion stylist for a local magazine. Then at 25 years she launched Image with Olive, an image consultancy.
She holds a business management degree in entrepreneurship from Switzerland, and a professional certification in image consultancy from ImageAsia.
Her clientele list includes Barclays, CFC Stanbic Bank, Farmer’s Choice and consultancy firm KPMG.
