Carrefour & Little Cab female bikers sustainability agenda

Little Cab

Last year in July, Carrefour Kenya announced a partnership with Little Cab that would see the retailer roll out e-bikes to be used when delivering its online orders to customers.

The initiative is in line with Carrefour Kenya’s sustainability agenda to achieve its carbon neutrality by 2040 on its direct activities.

The initial fleet consists of female riders as part of Carrefour’s ambition to promote gender equality and women empowerment in the mobility industry. Currently, Carrefour has engaged 5 female bikers and hopes to increase the number as it grows its footprint in the Kenyan Market.
