Popular and celebrated show host Lynn Ngugi is set to leave media station Tuko. Ms. Ngugi has gained a wide following for hosting the highly popular life stories dubbed Tuko Talks on the media house’s YouTube platform.
Lynn Ngugi confirmed that she was indeed set to leave Tuko on Wednesday evening. “Yes I am leaving Tuko but I promise you this is not goodbye, talk soon… And no, this is not a joke. I would never do that to you. However, the information is partly out there and I wanted you to hear it from me first. Love you all and thank you,” she said. At Tuko, the journalist was responsible for the production and hosting of the Tuko Talks shows.

Although she did not reveal her next move, Lynn could be heading to one of the mainstream media houses. She is currently one of the most followed media journalists and has been at the centre of Tuko’s growth. In Kenya, Tuko is ranked as the most followed media platform, ahead of mainstream media outlets such as the Nation and Standard. The media house is ranked at position three behind Google and YouTube.
