Police in Kibra have arrested four women for allegedly bribing voters to support UDAs MacDonald Mariga.
The first three women were arrested at Toi primary polling station after they were cornered by local leaders while trying to influence the ongoing voting exercise.
The fourth one was arrested at Kenyatta market station for committing the same offense.
Upon interrogation by the authorities, the suspects claimed they were agents allied to the UDA candidate in the Kibra parliamentary contest MacDonald Mariga.
Kibra deputy county commissioner Gideon Ombogi has confirmed the arrests, saying the three are in police custody at the Kibra police station.

The administrator said they have launched a further investigation to establish the person behind the vice.
