The Mercedes Benz Club Kenya has been officially accredited by Daimler Benz. The accreditation was done by the Mercedes-Benz Museum Stuttgart on behalf of Daimler Benz.
“We are excited that our journey to gain accreditation has come to an end. We are now the youngest club to join the league of clubs in the world,” Somolong, the head of Mercedes Benz club Kenya, said in a statement.
The club now also becomes the second after the South African club to receive the prestigious accreditation.
“We are grateful that our members have all made this possible,” said Mr. Somolong.
Apart from organizing drives across the country for its members, the Mercedes club has been engaging in various activities aimed at improving social welfare.
This October, the club is scheduled to run a drive in aid of cancer patients who are admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital’s Children’s Cancer Ward.
