Michelle Morgan is the Chief Executive Officer of BM Security, a leading private security firm in Kenya, following her appointment in September 2024.

Prior to her appointment, Mitchelle had served as a broadcast journalist at various media outlets, including Citizen TV, Ebru TV, and K24.

Michelle’s media journey began in 2012 when she joined Royal Media Services’ Citizen TV as a prime-time news anchor. She was the lead anchor for the 1 PM business news.

She worked for Citizen TV for two years before joining Ebru TV in 2015 citing lack of passion for the business field.

Her stint at Ebru was also short-lived as she quit to join K24 before becoming the host for Xtreme Outdoors Africa (XOA), an extreme sports Programme.

“I resigned as a news anchor at K24 in a very positive light. It was a very amicable separation. In my career as a news anchor, I cultivated a love and passion for outdoor activities. It is what I love. I love adrenaline, I love extreme activities, and this is the next chapter,” she noted on XOA’s YouTube channel.

In September 2017 she was back on K24 as an anchor for the weekend edition.

However, in 2018, her media career took a different turn when she joined BM Security, founded by her late father, Bob Morgan, in 1984.

Initially serving as the Executive Director, she oversaw BM Systems, the company’s technology division.

Her leadership was instrumental in driving the company’s digital transformation, positioning BM Security at the forefront of technological advancements in the security sector.

With over 7 years of experience in the security services, Mitchelle climbed the ranks to become BM Security CEO, succeeding Neil Morgan, who transitioned to the role of chairperson.

Outside her professional life, Michelle is a passionate polo player and is known for her involvement in various equestrian events and ventures in Kenya.

She is also a businesswoman, having co-founded the popular Alchemist Bar and Restaurant in Westlands, alongside her Asian husband, Peng Chen.
