The Ministry of Interior has announced a mass recruitment drive targeting form four leavers and certificate holders. In a notice, the ministry invited applications to fill 67 vacancies at the State Department of Correctional Services.
The advertised positions include Cook, Housekeeping Assistants, Artisans, and Security Wardens.
Interested and qualified applicants are required to submit their applications online through the Public Service Commission’s website or jobs portal by Monday, August 3, 2026, at 5:00 pm.
Applicants are required to provide all the required details, including academic and professional certificates. Shortlisted candidates shall be required to produce the originals of their National Identity Card, academic and professional certificates, and transcripts during the interview.

Housekeeping Assistant III – CSG 15 / Job Group E (5 Posts)

- Salary Scale: Sh21,120 – Sh26,250 per month
- Annual Leave Allowance: Sh6,500 per annum
- Leave Entitlement: 30 days per annum
- Commuter Allowance: Sh3,000 per month
- House Allowance: Sh2,960 – Sh4,500 per month, depending on the region of deployment

Artisan III – CSG 15 / Job Group E (19 Posts)
