Most Expensive Estates in Kenya: The HassConsult Real Estate report has revealed the estates where houses are most expensive and cheapest to buy.
According to the the report, in the majority of areas in Nairobi, it costs an average of Sh. 11.2 million to own stand-alone homes of more than four-bedrooms.
However, in the upmarket areas, the cost of owning a home is as high as Sh. 80 million.

Below is the breakdown of the most expensive estates in Nairobi where you will cough as high as Sh. 60 million to own a house.

In the same vein, most expensive areas such as Gigiri and Nyari also attract the highest rent rates in Nairobi. For example, the average house letting cost is Sh. 371,000 per month in Gigiri. In Nyaria area, you will cough up Sh. 335,700 to rent a home while in Runda and Kitusuru, you will pay Sh. 321,100 per month if you rent a house. According to HassConsult, these high costs are driven by the classification of the prime areas as the UN diplomatic blue zone.
