Popular comedian and content creator David Oyando, Mulamwah, is in the final stages of completing the construction of his dream mansion in his hometown.
The mansion located in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County, is reported to be worth millions. Mulamwah has funded the construction entirely with his own finances.
In a recent interview with journalists at Terence Creative’s Wash Wash 4, Mulamwah disclosed that he needs a few more millions to complete the construction of the house, after which it would allow him to move in.
Mulamwah emphasized that he has financed the construction without resorting to loans or seeking financial assistance from sponsors. He admitted to having faced construction challenges but remains committed to its completion.
“The journey has been difficult, it is a sacrifice because nothing is easy. Even if you say you want to buy a jacket tomorrow, you will have to skip lunch two or three times, it’s all due to dedication, sacrifice and hard work,” he said.
“You have to find that money because no one will give you a loan; it’s your money…cash, so you’ll be going around looking for it.”

Mulamwah went on to state that building a luxurious mansion in the village would be his greatest achievement. He mentioned that he estimates needing more than 15 million Kenyan Shillings to complete the mansion.
“It’s something that is possible, just don’t tell you that you can’t. It’s just planning and telling yourself that you know what’s possible and you’re willing to do it; it’s that simple. Until I finish it is hard money, it cannot be less than 15 million,” he added.
Mulamwah has expressed on multiple occasions that the effort and funds he has invested in the construction of his rural home are worthwhile, and he has no regrets about taking on the project.
