The finance director at the Nairobi Hospital Erick Maigo was on Friday found murdered at his home.
Maigo who wad aged 40 is reported to have been stabbed sixteen times to death by a woman.
He was found at his home in Woodley Estate, Nairobi. According to the police, Maigo was stabbed by a woman who had spent the night at his house.
Ten of the stab wounds are said to have been on his chest. However, it was not immediately clear what had led to the stabbing.
The murder was confirmed by Kilimani police boss Moss Ndiwa who said that the police are carrying out investigations with the aim of arresting the suspect.
Neighbors at the Woodley Annex apartment reported that they heard Maigo groaning loudly in pain.
They said that upon knocking on his door, they were confronted by a woman who claimed that all was well and that she was looking for the keys to open the door. She then refused to open the door as sounds of Maigo groaning persisted.

They then rushed to Kibra Police Station where they made a report. However, by the time the police arrived on the scene, the woman was gone and Maigo was lying dead in a pool of blood.
