The Directorate of Criminal Investigations has exposed the dreaded faces of the men who have been killing women at Nakuru’s Mawanga Estate.
This comes a week after a series of murders targeting women at the estate were reported.
Up to seven women were murdered by the gang of men that masqueraded as electricity technicians to gain entry into the homes of their targets.
The arrested men are all aged below 30 years. The youngest is 18 years old while the oldest is aged 27 years old.
The arrest of the alleged criminals followed the arrest of the mastermind Evans Michori Kebwaro, in Keroka Kisii county, earlier on Friday.
“The detectives raided a dwelling house in Nakuru’s Kivumbini area at 3am and pounced on Kebwaro’s five accomplices who had fallen into a deep slumber in a mud walled room,” the DCI said.
The five were Julius Otieno, 27, Josphat Simiyu, 24, Dennis Nmbolo 25, Isaac Kinyanjui, 18 and Makhoha Wanjala, 25.
