Breakdown of how I spent Sh. 4mn on this 4-bedroom precast panels mansion

Timothy Mutemi, a Kenyan Man, has melted hearts after giving a tour of his beautiful mansion in Mugumo Kiambu county.

In an interview, Mutemi revealed he used between Sh. 3.5 to Sh. 4 million to construct the 4-bedroom house. While his plan was to construct a concrete block house, he realized the cost was high, prompting him to switch to precast panels.

In addition, he wanted time-saving materials as his plan was to move into the house within two months.

Co-Op post

”By the time a landed in precast, it was a significant difference in terms of cost. So I felt that cost saving benefit of the panels because if you count what goes into the walls, the labor to fix them is not very high because you just need a few guys who know what they are doing to connect the walls, but they have to professionals.’’

”Also, the time taken is quite fast. This entire building in terms of the walling, we joined it within five days.’’ He said, adding that he used Sh. 2.3 million for the entire structure (foundation, walling, roofing, and window and door fixing). He said in an interview.

The house itself spells class. It is secluded and fancy, and the compound has beautiful flowers and well-manicured lawns. It has three living rooms with beautiful expensive couches and four all en-suite bedrooms.

The chandeliers and yellow curtains give the living space a stately feel. The exterior part of the house is fitted with a TNG ceiling, while the interior has a gypsum ceiling.
