This came as the leading telecommunications firm announced the departure of Michael Joseph as the board chairman.

The company announced that Joseph will be replaced by John Ngumi who is currently the board chairman at the ICDC.

Joseph’s departure came barely two years after he was appointed to the position.

Mdlalose has previously held the position of Managing Director and Non-Executive Director at Vodacom Tanzania Ltd.
