The Sarova Group is set to open a Sh. 1 billion hotel in Nakuru County.
The hotel will be opened in March next year. Currently, Sarova is doing the final touches on the one-billion project.
The hotel dubbed Sarova Woodlands will contain 142 rooms, and will be located near Nakuru State House, which is nearly a kilometre from Nakuru Central Business District.
The Sarova Group is owned by the family of the late G.S Vohra, and former Kirinyaga Central MP John Ngata Kariuki.
The new hotel will become only the second five star hotel in the county after the Lake Elementaita Serena Camp. Nakuru is currently the fourth largest town in Kenya.
