Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has lost his father. Sentaor Sonko’s father, Gideon Kioko Kivanguli, passed away at about 8pm Sunday evening in Nairobi Hospital where he was admitted Friday evening in the ICU.
Sonko took to his social media to inform Kenyans of his father’s passing. He thanked Kenyas for their prayers asked them to continue praying for others.
“Dear Kenyans and watu wangu nyote in general I thank each and every one of you for your prayers during my Dad’s sickness. We all loved him but GOD loved him more than us. Mzee has just left us. Continue praying for our family and all those in similar situations,” Senator Sonko posted on Sunday.
Sonko had requested prayers for his father who was admitted at the Nairobi Hospital ICU on Friday.
Senator Sonko’s mother, Saumu Mukami Mbuvi, passed on 16 years ago.
