The rollout is a significant milestone that costs Telkom US $100 million, demonstrating its commitment to becoming the technology partner of choice for its customers in Kenya and the region.

With the increasing demand for broadband, connectivity, and digital platforms, Telkom’s expansion is timely in driving digital transformation within the telecommunications sector.

According to Telkom Kenya’s CEO, Mr Mugo Kibati, mobile data is a fundamental human right that has emerged as a daily necessity. He further affirms the company’s commitment to better position its infrastructure asset base and services to bridge the digital divide and provide customers with more value.
