The year 2024 heralds a new dawn for the legendary Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. The highly rated SUV has received a major makeover and comes as the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 250 Series.

The biggest questions amongst motor enthusiasts are majorly on how the new Prado looks like, what its performance feels like, and how vehicle compares to previous Prado models such as the J120 model and the J150 model that were quite popular in the market.

According to Car Magazine, the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 250 Series comes with a 2.8-litre four-cylinder redesigned turbo-charger diesel engine. It also has a new eight-speed automatic gearbox. This adds two extra gears compared to the previous six-speed automatic gearbox that was in the previous model.

Car Magazine further states that the new Prado comes with Power and torque are rated at a relatively subdued 150kW and 500Nm of torque which have remained the same as they previously were.

However, with the newly redesigned turbo and gearbox, the vehicle is quicker than its previous model which took an average of 12.9 second to move from 0 to 100 kph.
