NTSA rolls out iTMS to cut road accidents
Bodies of the deceased have been moved to Kinango Sub-County Hospital mortuary. This accident is one of the worst in number of casualties involved to have happened in Kenya.
The accident comes as the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) moved to curb rising road accidents.
In June 2022, the NTSA announced that it will be launching the Integrated Transport Management System (iTMS) to help minimize accidents in the country.
“We shall roll it out countrywide where police will be equipped with smart applications to help them automatically collect key road data for easy action,” said NTSA Director General, George Njau.
