Kenyan lady returns from Australia; gifts parents expensive car for their sacrifices

Winnie Jepkemei, a Kenyan lady who has been living overseas in Australia, made a fashionable return to Eldoret. She announced her arrival by gifting her parents a new Toyota Fielder vehicle.

The lovely woman brought smiles to her parents’ faces, stating that they had made many sacrifices in their lives to ensure her success. She recognized that their sacrifices propelled her to attain a life that she adored.

Jepkemei explained to a digital media correspondent that she was not raised with a silver spoon in her mouth. Her parents toiled to secure funds for her education, even going to the extent of selling land to cover her school fees.

“They had to sell a piece of land to raise school fees for my education, which I will forever be grateful for. They believed in me, and I did not want to disappoint them,” she said.

“I promised them that I would repay their efforts and faith in me by doing well and making them proud.”

Winnie Jepkemei further added that she surprised her parents with the car days before they celebrated their birthdays. Neither her mother nor father were expecting such a gesture.

“My mother was pleased. She was emotional and said she did not expect something like this,” Jepkemei noted.

Her motivation was to make her parents as proud as possible whilst fulfilling her promise of a comfortable life for them.

“My parents sacrificed a lot and I did not want it to be in vain. No one believed in me when I was going to Australia, but they had faith in me. I have supportive parents I cannot take for granted,” she stated.

In a viral video posted on her TikTok account, her mother could be seen in tears, and the family warmly embraced each other. Netizens were quick to congratulate the lady in the heartwarming video.
