Kenyan woman murdered with daughters by hubby buried her dad last month

Njoki Muchemi, the Kenyan woman who was murdered by her husband Gary Stanton, buried her father less than one month ago.

Her dad, Geoffrey Migwi Muchemi had died on October 17 in the State of Washington. Migwi was a former employee at the Kenya Meteorological Department.

Following his death, Migwi’s body was flown to Kenya and kept at the Montezuma Kabati Funeral Home. He was buried at his farm in Kiamaina village in Kirinyaga County on November 12, 2022.

Njoki and her two daughters have been murdered by her husband Gary in Louisville, Kentucky, United States.

The husband shot himself dead after killing the three in what has been identified as a case of murder-suicide.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Mary Stanton, 49, Adrianna Stanton, 17, Brianna Stanton, 11, and Gary Stanton, 60, were the four victims in this incident.

The coroner said that the 60-year-old male died from self-inflicted gunshot wounds. Both Adrianna and Brianna were both students at Jefferson County Public Schools.

Around 9:30a.m. Saturday, LMPD officers were called to respond to the 4500 block of East Pages Lane on a report of a shooting with multiple victims.

In a statement, LMPD said officers arrived and found four people dead. The victims include one adult man, an adult woman, and two juvenile females.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Mary and Andrianna were shot multiple times and Brianna was shot once. Mary was shot six days after the family celebrated her birthday.
