John Lonyangapuo loses West Pokot Governor seat to UDA

West Pokot Governor John Lonyangapuo has lost his reelection bid.

Lonyangapuo has lost to Simon Kachapin of UDA. Kachapin garnered 86,476 votes to trounce Lonyangapuo who got 84,610 votes.
