A new survey has found that more uneducated Kenyan men own more houses than graduates.
The new survey was conducted by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics. It is part part of the report in the Demographic and Health Survey 2022 that has been released by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics.
The survey shows that 46.7 per cent of men who own houses lack formal education. This is in comparison to 32.2 per cent of men who own houses and who went past secondary school.
At the same time, only 3 per cent of women with formal education own houses in comparison to 10 per cent of uneducated women who own homes.

20 per cent of Kenyan men own their houses jointly with their wives in comparison to 36 per cent of women who own their homes jointly with their husbands.
