23-year-old Moses Kiprono has won the multi-million Betika Jackpot. Kiprono has walked away with the Sh. 200,000 million jackpot.
He had staked Sh. 49 for the jackpot. The win comes barely two months after Kipruto Rotich walked away with Sh. 200 million from Betika after correctly predicting all the games set for the mega jackpot. Kipruto was 22 years old.
The jackpot is won after correctly predicting 17 matches. Following the mega win, winners receive Sh. 160 million, with the remainder of Sh. 40 million going to taxes. This is because the jackpot win is subject to a 20 per cent withholding tax.
