Diamond Trust Bank ( DTB) has today held its second Economic and Sustainability Forum at Serena Hotel in Nairobi.
The DTB Economic and Sustainable Forum is a thought leadership platform that brings together policymakers, subject matter experts, businesses, and the bank to discuss emerging issues and catalyse collective participation in the nation-building agenda for shared gains and prosperity. In March this year, the Bank’s inaugural forum primarily focused on sustainability and embedding ESG practices in business operations.
DTB opens new branches in Kiambu and Nairobi in its rapid Expansion Drive
The theme for the second forum was Kenya Economic Outlook, where the discussions focused on the prospects, opportunities, and challenges for businesses. The keynote speaker for the meeting was Prof. Njuguna Ndung’u from the National Treasury, which also involved a panel discussion featuring speakers from the World Bank, PwC, KEPSA and Danford Industries.
DTB chairman Linus kakai said,
“DTB has a role in climate change as a responsible corporate. Creating awareness and engaging in crucial positions with the stakeholders to crystalize our environmental, social and governance planning. We commit to walking the journey with our stakeholders to achieve net zero carbon targets.”
