Reportedly, luck has shined upon him and the football prodigy will be expected to join a second-division club in Madrid. At the time of writing, the name of the club remains undisclosed

With a weight of expectations placed on his shoulders, many have begun speculating about Aldrine’s price tag in today’s inflated market for young talents.

It is expected that Aldrine Kibet will join the U-18s squad of the team before breaking through into the U-23 squad.

If he plays his cards right, the young player might even join a European powerhouse and follow in the footsteps of Victor Wanyama and Mariga.

Aldrine Kibet is expected to pack his bags and take his talents to Spain soon.

After the match against Dagoretti High, Kibet vowed to help Arsenal win the league one day.

“One day, I will help Arsenal win the league,” an ambitious Aldrine stated in his post-match interview.

Kibet says that his footballing journey began a long time ago. He says that his teammates nicknamed him ‘Messi’ then.

“The journey started a long time ago. Those days I used to be called Messi, my idol, but I decided to drop the name when I joined high school to build my own name,” he said in a past interview.

Now, the youngster has caught the attention of H.E President William Ruto, CS Youth Affairs Ababu Namwamba and Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya.

An acquaintance of H.E President William Ruto, Kibet has already met Harambee Stars legends Victor Wanyama and McDonald Mariga. He has also had the chance of speaking to Nigerian Striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni.

Evidently, Kibet has a high potential ceiling. He is resolutely focused on growing his career tremendously and hopes that one day he will play European football at a top club.

Over the years, Kenya has had amazing homegrown football talents. However, due to a deficiency of nurturing and development expertise, most have faded without reaching their full potential.

Kenyan fans always wondered why the setup of the Harambee Stars national team remains the same over the years, even in the presence of these promising emerging talents.

Aldrine Kibet is surely one to watch for the future of the Harambee Stars National Team.
