The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has announced that it will allow applicants for the September 2023 intake who did not get placements from their initial courses to revise their selections.
The medical college has instructed these September applicants to make the revisions through the controversial Kenya Universities and Colleges Placement Service (KUCCPS).
“If you applied for KMTC courses via the KUCCPS portal but missed an opportunity, we have some good news for you,” the college announced.
“You can now log in to http://students.kuccps.net and select an alternative course at no cost. This portal will remain open from September 12 until September 16th, 2023.”
KMTC further stated that the revision will only be opened for a few selected courses in what has been termed as the college’s attempt at filling in all slots.
This means that applicants may not be able to get courses such as Nursing and Clinical Medicine whose slots usually fill up fast.

The selected applicants for the college’s September course placements are expected to start reporting to various colleges for admission from September 19, 2023.
