The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA), through its training college, the East African School of Aviation, has announced free aviation training as it seeks to attract more youths into the aviation industry.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the aviation school said the classes in five aviation topics will be offered at the institution in Embakasi, off Airport North Road, on Saturday, October 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
“The primary objective of the event is to provide a good opportunity for potential students and the general public to learn more about the aviation industry and interact with professionals in the field. The theme of the open/innovation day is Leveraging on Innovation To Transform The Next Generation Of Aviators,” read the notice in part.
The training will equip participants with skills in five topic areas, including maintaining an aircraft’s airworthiness, flying an aircraft safely, and managing flight handling – the time between an aircraft landing and taking off at an airport.
