A famous quote goes, ‘Great things always work in favour of those who work hard’. For two identical twins, Jesse and Jason Kamwaro, preparation for the national exams was mandatory to achieve their success.
Now, they bask in glory and admiration having become the pride of their family and school with their exemplary performance.
While in primary school, the two brothers completed their KCPE exams with 409 and 407 marks. This earned them the opportunity to join the same high school, Pioneer School in Murang’a.
In the recently released KCSE exams, Jesse and Jason Kamwaro were among the top names in the nation having scored grade As. Jesse and Jason Kamwaro scored 82 and 84 points respectively.
The two boys were among the only 4 As that the school produced and topped amongst 263 candidates. In a media interview, the brothers shared that they would always study together, challenging each other in research and learning.
“We are elated that we managed to perform well in KCSE. We have been challenging one another to achieve this goal,” said Jason.
Military twins who scored same KCPE marks, went to same school, marry on same day
The brothers, however, admitted that they were not shocked about scoring the same grade in KCSE. They noted that they took similar subjects in high school and regularly posted similar performances from Kindergarten.
The twins’ parents, Esther and Samuel Kamwaro, could not hide their elation as jubilation rent the air. They praised their children for being hard-working and disciplined.
The school’s deputy principal, Daniel Mwaura, revealed that they have a university transition rate of over 75%, having achieved 200 C+s. He attributed the success rate to good partnership between teachers, parents and students.
Courtesy of billionaire Dr. Peter Munga, all students who scored grades of A and A- in the school, were awarded a token of Sh. 100,000 each.
