The late Paul Magu was in the process of transferring some of his property to Ms. Ann Wambui Wanyoro, it has emerged! Further, Mr. Magu’s mother, Keziah Wambui has come out to say that Ms. Ann Wambui Wanyoro is the source of her late son’s misery. According to Ms. Wambui, her son was influenced by Ann Wambui Wanyoro, who is currently under arrest and helping police with investigations into the murder. Mr Magu’s mother is still unable to understand why her son was in the process of transferring some of his property to Ms Wanyoro.
Apparently, Ms Wanyoro had been a close friend of the Magu family for about seven years. At the beginning, Paul Magu and his wife Lydiah Wangui were members of Faith Evangelistic Ministries (FEM) in Karen which is led by Apostle Teresia Wairimu. They began to stop going to FEM church when they met Ann Wambui Wanyoro.
Ms. Wambui says that she cautioned her son against going into prophesy at the expense of his job and his family’s wellbeing. “From what I heard, he quit his job about four years ago to concentrate on the church, which they led with Ms Wanyoro.
The church was called Shower Church. It had no buildings and services would be held on Saturdays in Thika. Mr. Magu and Ms. Wanyoro would ferry their congregation with buses from as far as Limuru to attend services at the church. Money was not a problem as Mr. Magu had been financially stable. It is understood that Mr. Magu had set aside a room in his house called ‘Prayer Room’, but it is not clear if Ms. Wanyoro ever joined Mr. Magu as a prayer partner in it, although she is said to have been a regular at his home. “Ann was a frequent guest in the Magu home in the five years I lived and worked with the couple. I knew her as a very close family friend,” said one of Magu’s relative.
Mr Magu’s mother is still unable to understand why her son was in the process of transferring some of his property to Ms Wanyoro. Earlier this week, Ms Wanyoro was arrested in connection with the mysterious deaths in the Magu family.
It is said that Ms Wanyoro was in constant communication with Mr Magu prior to his death and that of his entire family.
