Superior Homes is planning to list on the Growth Enterprise Market Segment (Gems) of the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) in a bid to raise capital for its expansion program.
“We have picked a superb team with a proven track record to steer us through this process and we are targeting for listing by introduction – subject to regulatory approvals – in the second half of 2016,” Superior Homes Kenya managing director Ian Henderson said.
The funds raised from the listing are expected to help the company embark on new real estate projects. The real estate firm has appointed Burbidge Capital as the lead advisers, PKF to offer accounting and business advisory services and A&K as transaction lawyers.
Superior Homes is known for Greenpark Estate in Athi River that comprises more than 700 homes. The firm is currently working on other projects that include a 50-room luxury hotel in Lake Elementaita.
