Preliminary investigations established that the main suspect, Eloges Paul Christian Kadima. who was the boyfriend to the deceased, had earlier bitterly argued with her over some photos of a woman on Kadima’s phone. It was reported that Koki and Kadima had been living together for a while.
It was also been established that Koki, on the day that she met her death, had summoned Kadima, who worked as a gymnasium instructor to the house, to question him about the photos.
Now, Koki’s househelp has come out to share what she knows about the events of the night Koki was murdered. The house help told the officers that on the fateful night Koki was home by 8pm. At around 9pm, she was joined by a man, who had been a frequent visitor to the home. The house help and Koki’s two children later went to bed, leaving Koki and the man in the sitting room. At around 10.30pm she heard a scream from her boss’ bedroom but did not bother to find out what was happening. She had previously witnessed Koki in a quarrel with the man and thought it was one of such fights.
Kadima initially told investigating officers that Koki fell from the bed and hit her head. He claimed that he left her unconscious and drove off in her car to the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD), where he met a friend and narrated what had happened. He later booked a room in town where he spent the night.
According to a former lover to Kadima, Koki had in June 2020 reached out to her seeking information regarding Kadima’s character. This was after Kadima assaulted her after she found romantic messages between him and a woman on his phone. Elizabeth Koki Murder.
