With UnlimiNET anything is possible, businesses flourish and people become successful! In that line of thought, Airtel came up with Grow My Hustle; Grow My Hustle is an Airtel program which aims at encouraging online entrepreneurship. Only 3 lucky businesses were picked. LuiTrent Collections is one of the winners of the campaign.
What has been your inspiration?
Our main inspiration has been the satisfaction our customers and clients get from us. Them posting and praising us for giving them quality for less is fulfilling.
Where did you get your business idea?
I went through campus partly by money from a mtush shop and i used to see my big sister get good money from sale of clothes as a side hustle. Mom still does. I loved helping out.
For how long have you been doing business online?
Officially since January 2015. 2nd to be precise.
Why did you choose social media to promote your business?
First i didn’t have money to set up shop. I had to let people know I have something ….i am active online and very social. It was the easiest most affordable platform which covered soonest all steps of the business.
How and why do you think your products matter to people?
First getting quality clothes and accessories nowadays is hard and expensive. Ours are camera and we choose then one by one which means you get quality, unique and good products for less. We also go ahead to wash and iron them which makes them * buy and wear * 🙂
Do you use Airtel Money as a form of payment on your business?
No we don’t. We haven’t yet introduced many modes of payment but we are considering them as we grow.
What are your future plans?
We want to be a household name. Delivering quality products for less. We look forward to a day where we’ll have a mobile van to take our products all over, we also want to eliminate the ‘uniform’ mentality taking over fashion industry by advising people to get unique products.. Not just what is on fashion.
