American nursing agency Avant Healthcare Professionals is set to recruit Kenyan nurses for US jobs. Avant will pitch camp in Nairobi on May 16 and May 17. During the Nairobi recruitment, interested nurses will get a chance to learn about the process of working in the US as a nurse.
Interested and qualified nurses will also get a chance to be interviewed by prospective employers during the two days.
“Avant is coming to Kenya. We will be there on May 16, and May 17 to help you learn more about our process, have your questions answered, and even conduct same-day interviews,” Avant Healthcare Professionals announced.

According to a requirements outline by the agency, interested candidates are expected to be registered nurses with the Nursing Council of Kenya, and be of good standing in their practice.
Although the NCLEX nursing exam and an English exam are usually required in the process, the agency states that it offers a fully funded NCLEX program and considers English exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, OET, and PTE.
