Bungoma twins, Benjamin Mukhwana and Jacob Mulongo, are not your everyday twins. These two are more than just copy and paste; they have repeatedly demonstrated that their lives are synchronized.
They have countless similarities in so many aspects of life. The 33-year-old twins are now over the moon after recently celebrating their wedding day on the same day.
These traits go back to when the Mukhwana twins were young. In primary school, Mukhwana was index 7 while Mulongo was index 9. The twins sat on their KCPE exams and scored the same marks.
Coincidentally, they both received admission letters to join the same high school. They were separated for the first time after being put in different streams.
However, in a past interview, they noted that it was difficult for teachers to tell them apart hence they were put in the same class.
“Some teachers got confused and thought it was the same student jumping from one class to the other, so they decided to put us in the same class,” he said.
After high school, both joined the same higher learning institution, Kibabii University, where they pursued the same university course; teaching. They both made a crossover to the military on the same date, where they remained to date.

They explained having encountered many instances when their girlfriends confused them and started talking to the other twin. The Bungoma brothers are now happily married, having tied the knot on the same day in a joint military-themed ceremony.
Their joint wedding has gained widespread attention on social media, with netizens extending their best wishes. In an interview, Benjamin Mukhwana expressed that it was a truly special day for both of them.
“This reminds me that perhaps we are just one person because some things we don’t plan together. We find ourselves thinking about the same thing and doing it. It means a lot to us,” he shared.
