Allan Kiuna who is the Bishop at the Jubilee Christian Church (JCC churches) in Nairobi has said that he used Sh. 460 million in the one year that he was in the United States for treatment.

Kiuna further said that out of all this money, none had come out of his pocket.

“”For the one year that I was in the US, my treatment cost Sh. 460 million. And I did not remove one coin from my pocket because the God of heaven provided,” said Kiuna.

He made the remarks after returning to Kenya. He had been in the United States for cancer treatment.

His remarks stirred mixed reactions from Kenyans on social media.

“Na wafuasi wanalala njaa wakimuita Dad…Bure kabisa!” a social media user who identified as Eric commented.

“Yes, God provides,He is Jehovah Jireh …God who provides,Gold and silver are His…so God paid your hospital bills because all blessings comes from God through men to men,” another user who identified as Beatrice said.

“While we depend on prayers for our healing,” said Emmily.

“One thing I have picked from this post is. Your network is your net worth. I’m sure most of you if something happened and you needed let’s say to raise 50k. Depending on the people you know it might either be a hit or miss. I guess it just depends on the level of people one has. To one raising kshs 2000 in an hour might be a tall order to another it might take seconds. I don’t know about his life so I cannot be here to comment on his character and dealings. To some he’s a hero to some a villain. All I’d say is let them be it’s their life and their choices,” said Elvis.
