Bizna Kenya was yesterday evening announced as the 2016 winner of the Best Business Blog award in the annual Kenyan Blog Awards.
Speaking on the sidelines of the awards, Bizna Kenya founder Tonnie Mello said that Bizna would continue to advance the course of entrepreneurship, supporting small and medium businesses and open up the business world to Kenyans in new, first and fast ways. “We will continue to advance our motto which is a dedication towards better businesses and better lives,” said Mr. Mello.
The awards ceremony was held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Upper Hill Nairobi yesterday.
This year’s awards had 19 categories. Other winners included creative writing blogger Jackson Biko who bagged the Creative Writing Award. Mr. Biko was also announced as the 2016 Kenyan blogger of the year after beating blogs such as Owaahh.com, Niaje.com, Techweez.com, and Lyraoko.com.
Techweez won the Best Technology Blog, while Ben Kiruthi took the Best Photography prize.
