A Nigerian man forcefully submitted his wife to local authorities after she squandered Sh. 1.4 million capital that he had given her to start a wine business.

In a TikTok video that has gone viral, a woman who identified herself as a mutual friend of the couple said that wife was seemingly unable to account for the Sh. 1.4 million.

The woman named Rita said that the wife was given the money and for lack of responsibility, the business collapsed. She has worked as a housewife for the entirety of her marriage and the husband would diligently provide everything for the household and pay her Sh. 55,500 personal monthly upkeep.

The wife felt that this was not enough, thus she requested her husband and her few friends to pool capital and help her start a business.

The wife turned her new business into the affairs of friends and family, giving people really expensive wine on credit and they never paid her back.

After failing tremendously in the business, the man asked her where all the money had gone. Arrogantly, the woman responded by saying that she shouldn’t be questioned about such when the husband is out there spending money aimlessly on side chics.

An infuriated husband dragged his wife to the police station where she would undergo interrogation. The wife’s kin has been calling her husband, pleading with him for her release.
