Fans of the award winning series Switched at Birth can now catch the fifth season of this series through their StarTimes decoders.
The one-hour scripted drama revolves around two young women who discover they were switched at birth and grew up in very different environments.
While balancing school, jobs, and their unconventional family, the girls, along with their friends and family, experience deaf culture, relationships, class differences, racism, audism, and other social issues.
The 10-episode fifth season also celebrates the show’s 100th episode. The final episode for Season 5 runs for 90 minutes.
During the Season 4 finale, Bay and Daphne, who are both in China, got a call that would force them to go back home in Season 5. The call was rumoured to have come from John and Kathryn who would divorce in Season 5.
There was also the possibility of John dying, with his dying wish being to spend more time with his daughters before he passes away.
He nonetheless was set to appear in all Season 5 episodes.
The fifth season of Switched at Birth started airing on January 17 this year with IMDB releasing 6 episodes. This was the final installation of the famous series. The first season of this American teen/family drama television series first premiered on June 6, 2011.
