A few days ago Kenya’s most celebrated TV queen Catherine Kasavuli appealed for blood donation.
She had been admitted at Kenyatta National Hospital for treatment after getting a diagnosis for cervical cancer.
Days after receiving overwhelming messages of good wishes from Kenyans, she has come out to speak about her health condition.
“To anyone fighting the same struggle, I love you. We shall overcome,” she said. “To special people that have come forth to donate blood, may God bless you.”
Ms. Kasavuli revealed that the last one month in which she has been admitted at the private wing of Kenyatta National Hospital for treatment has been one of the toughest she has faced.

“Last one month has really been crazy for me. I want to take this moment and appreciate my family, colleagues in the media industry, Catherine Kasavuli Foundation team, my doctors, friends, strangers and online community,” she said.
