Fresh photos have emerged showing how billionaire industrialist Chris Kirubi is fairing in his battle against cancer.
The photos were taken when Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga paid a visit to Mr. Kirubi.
For some time now, Chris Kirubi has been battling what is suspected to be cancer of the colon. The treatment procedure which often involves chemotherapy has caused him to lose weight radically.
Mr Kirubi, who is in his seventies, has wide-ranging business interests in publicly listed as well as private companies.
He is the single-largest shareholder of the Nairobi Securities Exchange traded Centum Investments with a 28.64 per cent stake.
In November last year, Mr. Kirubi had traveled to the US for specialized treatment.
While many Kenyans sympathized with Kirubi, there were those who took the opposite and criticized the manner in which he has acquired his wealth.
