Crazy Kennar relocates to South Africa for content creation studies

Kennedy Odhiambo alias Crazy Kennar has relocated to South Africa to begin studies in film and content creation. The strategic decision aligns with his ambition as he continues to gear up for his domination of the global comedy market.

Kennar has previously had forrays in South Africa which saw him meet legendary stand-up comedian Trevor Noah. In addition, he was appointed as a Visit South Africa ambassador.

Kennar’s social media announcement about his new journey in content creation was met with warm wishes and support from his fans. Despite embracing bigger challenges, he still maintained a strong connection to his home country, Kenya.

“Blessed Man! A new level of entertainment unlocked, journey with me as I share my life with you as a Local Genius Kenyan creator studying in South Africa, living in Kenya and in South Africa while creating content across the world. Kennar, an Actuarial Science graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, will be operating from both Kenya and South Africa.

This comes just three months after Kennar hosted his debut live show at the KICC, dubbed Happy Country, which was a sold-out success. Since then, he has been widely acclaimed as the ‘GOAT’ of content creation.

The successful show took place just four days after Crazy Kennar fatally lost his infant son. Despite this heartbreaking setback, the Stand Against Depression advocate bravely took to the stage to deliver a memorable performance.

The event was graced by top acts and artists who came to show their support.

Kennar’s comedic journey to South Africa also comes at a time when he has overhauled his entire Content Kartel comedy group and brought onboard new faces, having unceremoniously parted ways with the original members of his skit-making team.

Although Kennar has not officially disclosed his new school, verified reports suggest that he will be studying at Johannesburg’s AFDA School for the Creative Economy.

AFDA is a renowned private higher education institution offering a wide range of courses in film, television, performance, business innovation and technology, radio and podcasting, and creative writing. It has a reputation for nurturing top talents in the film industry throughout Africa.
