Double Olympic champion and 800-meter world record holder, David Rudisha, was among the hundreds of thousands of parents who accompanied their children to open a new page in their lives at secondary school.

Rudisha proudly took his daughter for admission at Kaplong Girls High School in Bomet. It is a girls’ boarding secondary institution located in Sotik Constituency.

Taking to social media, the renowned athlete shared a picture of him and his daughter tagged alongside each other. His daughter was dressed in a navy blue-themed uniform.

“Your high school journey has started and we wish you nothing but the best,” Rudisha captioned the social media post.

As per media reports, in the KCSE 2023, Kaplong Girl’s High School had a 100% candidate transition rate to universities, after all students scored C+ and above.

The school reportedly got a mean score of 7.792 points, translating to a mean grade of B-. It was ranked at position 209 nationally.
