Raila to use DCI report on Venezuelans as ‘evidence’ at Supreme Court

Raila to use DCI report on Venezuelans as 'evidence' at Supreme Court

Azimio la Umoja’s Raila Odinga will table a report from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations on three Venezuelans as evidence at the Supreme Court.

The DCI report will be presented as part of evidence that Raila claims shows the 2022 General Elections were hacked in favour of Dr. William Ruto.

This has been confirmed by Assistant Superintendent of Police, Peter Maina, who stated that the DCI document shall be availed before the Supreme Court.

Co-Op post

According to Maina, Azimio la Umoja has obtained a court order through a petition by Martha Karua to have the evidence tabled.

He said that Karua’s petition to the court was supported by the petitions which were filed by activist Khelef Khalifa, George Osewe, Ruth Mumbi and Grace Kamau, who alleged that there were criminal activities within the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission that undermined the presidential results outcome.

The DCI report has corroborated allegations by the Raila-led Azimio la Umoja coalition.
