Popular disc jockey, Dj Joe Mfalme, is allegedly among suspects who have been arrested in connection with the death of a senior detective who has been identified as Felix Kelian.

The detective died on Friday while undergoing treatment at the Nairobi West Hospital. A postmortem was scheduled to be carried out on Saturday at the Umash Funeral Home.

Reports have further alleged that three police officers who attended the scene have also been arrested for questioning.

Reports claimed that the Dj and his handlers had assaulted the detective in a road rage incident. Apparently, the detective was involved in a non-injury traffic accident at around 4am within the Kikuyu market area.

A report that appeared in the Nation Media Group’s Daily Nation claimed that a medical report had indicated that Kelian was admitted at the Nairobi West Hospital with severe abdominal pains and was unable to urinate for about four hours.

A spot check on a performance schedule the Dj had posted on his page showed that Mfalme had been scheduled to perform at the Embassy Bistro club in Nairobi on Friday March 22. This show did not happen, allegedly because he was arrested on that Friday.

His schedule had further indicated that he would be performing at the Quiver Lounge Eastlands in Nairobi on Saturday March 23. This show did not happen either.
