Equity Bank has scaled down its Eazzy Plus loans product in which the bank was offering mobile loans for a period of two months to one year.
Instead, the bank is now offering mobile loans for a period of one month only.
This comes after the bank said that it would be reviewing the Eazzy Plus Loan product.
Under the new Eazzy Loan monthly package, borrowers with Equitel lines are only able to get a fraction of the amount they’d have received for a one-year period under the Eazzy Plus segment.
A check on the Equitel loan product shows that unlike the Eazzy Loan category, borrowers are not able to get their loan limits under the Eazzy Plus segment.
It remains to be seen what alterations Equity Bank is going to make on the Eazzy Plus Loan product.
