The fear of networking has undoubtedly hindered many people from reaching certain levels in their careers.
Many individuals find networking as a terrifying, experience simply because they are either introspective, introverted, or shy.
When Eric Obwaka realized he had the same problem, he decided to work on his confidence. The entrepreneur would attend networking trainings which enabled him to capture the dos and don’ts of business networking.
It was not long before he mastered the art of networking and started a business to help entrepreneurs with similar challenges to face their fears to scale their businesses.
“Personaly I used to “fear” Networking or attending networking meetings, I used not to be confident in holding business conversations…But I one day picked up the courage and was Trained on Business networking and I sweared never again to let anybody behind, to teach Business networking,” he says.
Today, the self-proclaimed King of Business Networking has mentored 2500 people into business.

Among his main focus areas is on how to build social capital that can increase the entrepreneur’s network, sales and income.
Obwaka also trains business owners and individuals on how to start, run and grow a business.
“We remove FEAR from Entreprenuers and make them master the Art,Science of Business Networking,” adds Obwaka.
His expertise and thought leadership have earned the Rotarian spots at over 75 clubs within 2 years where he shares insights and best practices of business networking.
Obwaka attributes his success to joining Rotary and Business network International as it has helped him conduct over 75 Trainings on how to build social capital, networking for career, Life and Business.
“Im a Business network International member-BNI member and was awarded the most Improved master connector member in year 2023,” he says.
He further acknowledged the role of social media in building his brand in the ever-changing business landscape.
All his trainings are conducted both virtually-on zoom, and physically reaching audience in various parts of the world.
He advises anyone intending to venture into entrepreneurship to build social capital, and network widely.
“Join many networks as much as you can. Business networking knocks and opens doors. Invest now. Passion profits, do what you love and it will love you back,” he advises.
