Wetangula’s son graduates from top Australian university with PhD

The son of National Assembly speaker Moses Wetangula has completed his doctoral studies at one of the Australian universities, the Monash University.

Eugene Wetangula was conferred with a Ph.D. in Juridical Science from the top Australian university.

Gleaming with an ear-to-ear smile, the speaker took to his X (formerly Twitter) page to share pictures of the occasion. Wetangula was accompanied abroad by his family to mark his son’s big day.

“Education is the key to success and the path to many opportunities that life has to offer. Higher education opens our minds to broader horizons and makes us competitive globally,” he wrote.

In his congratulatory statement to his son, Wetangula urged Kenyan youth to prioritize their pursuit of knowledge above all else. He maintained that a well-educated nation is prosperous in its undertakings.

“An educated country is a rich country. Congratulations, Dr. Eugene Wetang’ula!”

Meanwhile, Ali Yatani, the son of former Treasury Cabinet Secretary Ukur Yatani, has successfully bagged his master’s degree from the University of Loughborough in the UK.

The former Cabinet Secretary shared the news on his X (formerly Twitter) page, expressing his pride and elation over his son’s graduation.

“Thanks to God for guiding our son Ali Yatani through his studies and his graduation today with MSc from the University of Loughborough, UK is an immense joy for the family. Congratulations son, am always proud of you,” he wrote.
